o What you did not learn and how do you think it would have supported your education and your future career?

Consider all of the courses and content you have learned in the program. What course or course content will be most helpful in your future role?

I want to pursue a career in healthcare administration as a nursing home administrator so the classes that I believe had the most impact on me is my upper level classes, my core classes, because they were geared to the degree I’m pursing. the risk management course enlighten me on the risks organizations face and the strategies they use to prepare for uncertainty , organizational behavior course taught me about organizational structure, organizational culture and the many behaviors of employees , healthcare professional development course taught me about branding and putting myself out there to be seen to grow as a professional , to keep a squeaky clean image, join organizations, learn and educate yourself and to remain professional and respect will be given, and healthcare strategy capstone taught me about the mission and vision statements of organizations and the importance of the strategic planning process, SWOT analysis, utilizing linken training tutorials. All courses stated will help me as I transition into healthcare administration.

We could have a course on marketing and financial aspect of the heath organization, a course that discussed census in nursing homes and hospitals how to retain patients even how to wheel them in. we could have had a course that discussed the admissions process/insurance claims. Since were going to be managing employees in those departments if would have been nice to know what they do and how they do it.
