Recent news stories indicate that the US Government is or has placed ANTIFA on the domestic terrorist list. Here in Arizona, after an August 2017 riot following a speech by President Trump, politicians began proposing new laws. One in particular calls for any person who commits a dangerous crime while their face is covered would be guilty of a crime one degree higher in the crime severity ranking in Arizona. So, if it was a class 6 felony, it would be a class 5 felony if the suspect’s face was covered. Such legislation would allow the police and courts to impose stricter punishments for rioters such as the ANTIFA who often cover their faces while promulgating their “violent extremist” positions.
