• Thesis / Theme / Purpose (in 1-3 sentences)

Summary (10 Marks)
Provide a brief explanation of what the multimedia is about
• Brief summary of Key Points

Guiding Points
 What is the purpose of the documentary?
 What is the main message the director, author, etc. wants to get across to the audience?

Analysis and Evaluation (15 Marks + 5 Marks for Critical Thinking)
Provide an analysis and critique of the multimedia
• Include your opinions (Note: A critique can be positive and/or constructive)
• Explain and support opinions with examples

Guiding Points
 How did the director, author, etc. achieve their purpose?
 Describe the effectiveness
 What are the strengths and areas of improvement?
 Did you know anything about the subject before reviewing the multimedia?
 What questions did you have?
 Was there anything that surprised you?
 What have you learned from it?
 How does the film correspond to or differ from what you have learned from other sources on this subject matter?

Conclusion (5 Marks)
Provide brief review by pulling your thoughts together
• Impression the multimedia left you with
• Emphasize what you want your reader to know about it
• Recommendation (Would you recommend it to your peers?)

• Write in a logical and coherent manner; it should be easy to read
