Your persuasive essay should be five paragraphs. You will also submit your graphic organizers, Developing a Claim and Paragraphs, and your draft.
Make sure you have included
• A hook.
• A clearly stated claim.
• Logical reasons with supporting evidence.
• A conclusion that sums up your argument and includes a call to action.
• Vivid language.
• A tone and voice appropriate for your audience.
• Evidence of revising reasons and evidence to support original claim if needed, organization of information, transitions, grammar, and mechanics.
