Analyzing a Response on My Father Is a Simple Man

Squeaky, Jerry, and the speaker in “My Father Is a Simple Man” all recognize something significant about the value of family and the importance of relationships.
Compose a response analyzing how each of these characters defines a family relationship. Compare what each character comes to understand, and how their ideas are similar. Refer back to the lesson, as needed, to review the ideas and themes in this lesson.

Describe each character. What are they like? How do they speak? How do they interact with others? What type (minor, main, dynamic, etc.) is this character?
